On May 25, 2011, Susie Foster was named head women’s soccer coach at Carroll University.
Foster, a former standout goalkeeper at Northwestern University, becomes the eighth head coach in Pioneer women's soccer program history.
After graduating from Northwestern, Foster landed at Carthage College, where she was a member of the women's soccer program for eight years. She was an assistant coach for the Lady Reds in 2003 and 2004 before taking over head coaching responsibilities from 2005-2010.
During her six-year tenure as head coach, Foster guided Carthage to four consecutive winning seasons that included two NCAA Tournament appearances and a national ranking (No. 20) in 2008. She compiled an overall record of 68-41-10.
Foster’s Pioneers have also enjoyed success during her tenure, qualifying for the Midwest Conference post-season tournament in 2011 and 2014 while also earning a three-way share of the league’s regular season championship in 2011.
